Are You Ready to Start Getting Job Interviews?

Are You Ready to Start Getting Job Interviews?Have you been accepted for a job, only to find out that your resume is missing the essential ingredients that lead to success in today's market? Before you know it, you'll be paying hundreds of dollars for resume services, but you'll have the same resume - and not get any work. You may have worked so hard, applying for jobs using this same resume service that you feel you have no way to get your name out there again. No matter.Since so many are not working at all, if you've had a few unsuccessful interviews, this can be a great time to get back on the road to success. It's easy to make a mistake when writing a resume. A good resume will be one that is filled with only your qualifications. This is the stuff that most employers are looking for and what they're afraid to give up when they see work experience. Your resume should not include any information about you doing some project work and provide little to no references.Once you've written your resume and saved it, it's time to really go to work. First of all, review what's on it. If you've added an irrelevant category, remove it, or at least indicate that you're changing it.Remove all the extra space you might have filled up with your social security number and other unnecessary details. You also want to make sure that there are no other items on the page that could cause another employer to think that you don't truly understand what you're trying to achieve. Be concise and keep it professional, yet easy to read.Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, ask the resume service for feedback on the job you're trying to apply for. Look for areas where you can do some improvement, and do so immediately.Resume services aren't here to get your name on the job anymore. They're here to help you get your name on the job.
